King Solomon Academy is a non-selective, non-denominational, fully
comprehensive school that opened in September 2007.
From September 2008 it will have 120 children across Reception and Year 1.
Experienced Learning support assistants
are needed to work alongside teachers to help children, including those with Special Educational Needs to achieve.
They will work with the children, either on a one to one basis or in small groups.
In particular, we are looking for an LSA to work with a student requiring specific support. This LSA will need experience of working with children on the autistic
spectrum.
The Midday meal supervisors will look after the children at lunch times.
They will be caring role models for the children; ensure they play safely and eat properly. Ideal candidates will be from the local area and have the commitment and experience of looking after children.

I am a 52 year old man and a tetraplegic due to a spinal cord injury at level C4 - C6 (incomplete). I live in north west London with my wife, daughter and my pet dog in a semi detached property.
The atmosphere in the house is calm and friendly, I am severely disabled and wheel chair bound. I can do some things for myself, but for the rest I need help.
I am looking for people who are responsible, kind, patient and physically fit, who can work as a team to provide me with 24 hour care.
Duties include all aspects of personal care, manual handling, hoisting and using other disability equipment and general domestic tasks, cooking, washing, ironing, walking my dog etc.
Applicants must speak good English, will require references and a CRB check and you should have a National Insurance Number and necessary work permit/visa to work in the UK. Current full driving licence will be an advantage as I have a manual wheelchair access able Mercedes Vaneo 1.7CDI and would like my day time care assistant to drive me to my appointments.
The job will develop for someone who is prepared to make a long term commitment. Additional training will also be provided as and when necessary.
The pay rates will be in line with current market rates and care experience for the right person who is willing to make a long term commitment.

Shelver to work 20 hours per week. Main duties consist of sorting books

The successful candidate will have the ability to work accurately and in
a methodical manner. Basic numeracy and literacy skills are essential
along with excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with a
wide variety of library users in a firm and courteous manner. Previous
experience of working in a service context will be an advantage.
